Just the church from the XII century is preserved. It belonged to a monastery.

It was built thank to donations of Afonso V to the benedictine order.

During a work of restoration, romanesque paintings were discovered. The paintings, in an anwful conditions nowadays, represent the Seven Sins.

In 1975 a beatiful gate was discovered, with a tympanum representing The Last Supper.

Some pieces from roman and suevian ages can be seen.
